In 2022, the newest urban festival in Transylvania, Tabakó, was born in Sfântu Gheorghe, as an important part of the repositioning of the former tobacco factory. The Tabakó Forum created the possibility for the tobacco factory to come to life once a year, according to the desires of the residents of Sfântu Gheorghe. With its innovative concept, the festival transformed the industrial heritage building and its surroundings into one of the most interesting event venues in Transylvania, contributing to the promotion of the city of Sfântu Gheorghe and the retention of young people at home. And the story doesn't end here: this year, the Sepsi Tabakó Festival will once again take place in the city of Sfântu Gheorghe!
